Launch of Credit Education Week November 13th 16th
National Event Will Raise Awareness of the Importance of Good Financial Management and Provide Advice to Help Canadians Get Back on Track
Toronto, ON (November 9, 2007) - Credit Canada and Capital One Canada proudly present the first national Credit Education Week, to be held from November 13th to November 16th.
This week-long event is designed to raise awareness of the importance of good financial management. It will help empower Canadians with free access to financial advice from experts through campus fairs, trade shows, and speaker series. A website (www.crediteducationweekcanada.com) has also been created to provide financial information, tips, and calculators to help Canadians manage their finances more effectively.
The national event will be launched at the University of Torontos Hart House, November 13th, by Credit Canada and Capital One Canada. Media are invited to attend this important event, where the full results of a major national survey revealing the financial situation and perceptions of more than four thousand Canadians will be released.
