He’s the bestselling author of two Globe and Mail books, including Moolala: Why Smart People Do Dumb Things With Their Money (And What You Can Do About It).
Becky Western-Macfadyen is the Financial Coaching and Education Manager at Credit Canada. She began her credit counselling career in 1997 and spent 21 years working as a Credit Counsellor and then moved into program management. Becky helped pilot and continues to lead Credit Canada's GOLD financial coaching program, which was recently honoured with a 2026 Money Awareness and Inclusion Award. She is passionate about helping Canadians build confidence, get out of debt, and get back into life.
Randolph Taylor is a Certified Financial Counsellor (CFC™) at Credit Canada with over 24 years of experience helping people find their way out of financial difficulty. He originally trained to become a financial planner, but after hearing a Credit Canada counsellor speak to his class, he applied right after graduating and never looked back. Randolph is passionate about helping people move from financial darkness into clarity with confidence.
Mike Bergeron entered credit counselling to help people get out of debt and achieve their financial goals. Now, as a Counselling and Client Services Manager at Credit Canada with over 15 years of experience in the financial industry, he’s helped thousands of clients consolidate debt, build workable budgets, and recover from financial setbacks. As a husband and father of two young adults managing his own household budget, Mike’s committed to giving Canadians the tools to move forward with clarity and confidence, transforming dreams into reality.
