What should I know about Live Chat Credit Counselling?
When is the Live Chat Counselling available?
We operate our live chat counselling service Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm EST. Holidays are excluded.
What if I prefer to talk to someone on the phone?
No problem, we also have credit counsellors available on our phone line. Simply call us at 1.800.267.2272.
Our call centre hours are:
Monday - Thursday: 8am - 6pm (ET)
Friday: 8am - 5pm (ET)
Saturday: 8am - 4pm (ET).
What happens if I am disconnected?
No worries, come back when you can, and we can pick up the conversation from where we left off.
What happens if I run out of time and cannot continue my session?
You can return when you are able, or if you like, the counsellor you are speaking with can set up a time for a phone call or a future chat.
Can I switch to a phone call if I like?
Yes, if you would like to switch to a phone call, just let the counsellor you are chatting with know. They can call you immediately or at a time that works best for you.
Can I sign up on a Debt Consolidation Program through chat?
Yes, if you decide that you would like to sign up on a Debt Consolidation Program or if you would like a referral to a Licenced Insolvency Trustee, this can all be handled through chat.
